 「琉球列島の自然講座」の英語版「Nature in the Ryukyu Archipelago」が出版されました。ユニークで貴重な琉球列島の自然について琉球大学理学部の教員がわかりやすくまとめた入門書の英語版です。これにより日本国内のみならず海外の人々にも沖縄の自然の成り立ちを理解してもらえるようになりました。「Nature in the Ryukyu Archipelago」は無料でダウンロードできます。本書は琉球大学理学部で実施されている本プロジェクト(国際サンゴ礁研究教育ハブ形成プロジェクト)の活動の一環として出版されたものです。
